It all started when…
I picked up my mom's camera... and never put it down. I'm thankful for my parents believing in me and providing me with my first camera.
I have explored other avenues in life, but I have come to find that I am most comfortable and passionate behind my lens. Providing people with timeless images that tell the story of real, honest relationships is incredibly important to me. I would describe my style as timeless, soft, romantic and elegant.
I can honestly say that I value the relationships I create with my clients. From our first email exchange to sending off your collection, I am fully here for you. Please don’t hesitate to contact me, I would love to hear from you!
A few of my favorite things:
Leggings - I live in them!
Listening to Podcasts
Trips to the Mountains or the Lake
Sushi (but only Spicy Salmon Rolls)
Cheeze dip - Yum!
Reading a good book
Board Games (Settlers of Catan, anyone?)
Taking long naps
On a more personal note…
I have been dating my boyfriend, Brandon, for 4 years now. We met back in high school and were friends for about 5 years before we started dating. You can read our story on my blog here. Three years ago for our anniversary, Brandon gave me my sweet Great Pyrenees puppy, Bentley. He’s the best gift! Brandon knew I’d been wanting a puppy and he surprised me with one (my very first puppy of my own)! He’s my best buddy! You can find him alllll over my Instagram.
I have a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of West Georgia and taught sweet little first graders for four years. I had been pursuing photography while teaching, but am now pursuing photography full time!! You can read a little about this journey here. Teaching has taught me more than I ever thought possible and helped to shape me into who I am today. How grateful I am for the experiences and friendships that teaching has brought into my life!
Photography truly brings me joy and is my passion! Although I am more of an introvert & a homebody, I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. Photography allows me to connect with other people and to truly learn their story and be a part of their life. Being a part of a couple’s wedding day, a sweet newborn session, or a senior’s graduation story means the world to me. Do I love capturing beautiful images? You bet! However, what I love more is capturing the real, raw moments that cannot be re-created.
Photography allows me to show others how I see them, their loved ones, and their hearts. Capturing someone’s emotions and heart means more to me than just a beautiful image. My hope is that the images I capture will visible memories that you treasure forever. We can’t get back those fleeting moments, but we can remember them… and I want to be a part of that for you.
